Zach Galindo began teaching private lessons in 2004 throughout Dallas and has taught more than 1000 students since his music teaching journey began. In 2014, he hired his first teacher, and the vision for building music schools was cast. He opened the brick & mortar Lake Highlands School of Music (link to LHSM home page) in May of 2017 and opened Oak Cliff School of Music in April of 2022. The schools are now home to over 300 students, both children and adults, and a team of 25 teachers. Zach attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from University of North Texas, concentrating in jazz guitar and classical guitar, respectively.
He toured nationally & internationally with Americana outfit Rodney Parker & 50 Peso Reward for 11 years. They shared the stage with the Turnpike Troubadours, the Old 97’s, Robert Earl Keen, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney Larue, and Shakey Graves.
