Kayla is a professional pianist, vocalist and songwriter from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she studied under competition winning pianists, Dr. Young Hyun Cho, Dr. John Solomons, and film composer/audio expert Micah Hayes. Currently, she plays in the band Igimèjí, with whom she has performed at the State Fair of Texas, the Levitt Pavilion in Arlington, the Deep Ellum Arts Fairs, and more. 

She specializes in working with students on piano and voice and is one of our longest tenured teachers at OCSM.
